Desiderabilia – About Desirable Things
Desiderabilia is a group exhibition where 25 international designers designed their own personal “object of desire”. It’s an investigation to acknowledge the conditionings that more or less unconsciously steer our individual choices and ambitions, useful to stimulate a consideration about the concepts of pleasure and happiness.
The result is an ideal collection of prototypes that find their place in an oneiric setting inside a “Wünschenkammer” – or “room of desires” – where the intangible substance of dreams can be recognized and we can identify ourselves in the reciprocal possible relations between different yet constant identities.
