Texturae
BRH+ designs three wallpapers for the Italian brand Texturae:
EÍNDA
A mosaic of various polygons of shapes arranged on a flat surface evokes a 3-dimensional plane to create an impression of depth. Eínda is a succession of vertical geometric panels with dense colour fields which merge into an original spatial weft. The graphic design is a tribute to the talent of Gio Ponti, to the precision of his creativity and the poetry of the ceramic parameters of his architectural inventions.
LÁRIA
An architectural view – a structural frame set into a fragment of landscape. Lária presents a rhythmic sequence of geometric signs similar to a grid, a beampillar system immersed in colour. The graphic design is an homage to the genius of Giuseppe Terragni, to the visionary purity of his rational architecture and the metaphysical process with which he sublimates matter in a succession of suspended identities.
SOLÁRIA
A field of uniform colour scored by fine lines which intersect in oblique wefts in a matrix of repeated lozenges: bright rays, shadow projections, trajectories of small celestial bodies. Solária is a window onto a new and unknown horizon, the map of a new sky and of an abstract firmament. The graphic design is a dedication to the art of Piero Portaluppi, to his refined architecture, recurring decorative motifs and his passion for scientific instruments of measurement through an abstract interpretation of the warp of the hour lines on a sundial.
