MAO
Nothing is Real

Ever since the Beatles discovered the Orient, pop culture has been contaminated with mysticism in an ideal fusion of East and West; this is the premise behind the exhibition Nothing Is Real, set up in 11 rooms at the MAO, Museo d’Arte Orientale of Turin.

Hundreds of objects from different spheres and languages establish a dialogue with contemporary art in a space containing a complex of display fixtures marked by unexpected positions, made with colors and textures derived from oriental imagery.
