Carlo Pignatelli
Male Arcana (Volume I)
BRH + develops the concept for Male Arcana and designs the new architectural setup for Carlo Pignatelli at the Central Pavilion in Fortezza da Basso (Florence), during Pitti Immagine Uomo 97.
The architecture of the setup – that welcomes and presents the capsule collection – is an imaginative place, defined by essential lines and noble materials. Electric blue, gold and black are the main colors by which the chromatic identity of the environment is defined; the specific shade of blue, in particular, proposes the chromatic code of distinction of the new Sartoriale collection.
A slender golden metal frame distinguishes the setup: its shapes move in space according to precise geometries, with straight and curved lines that cross each other, generating a light structure, capable of carrying – in an almost suspended mode – some ebony Makassar panels and the clothes on display.
A soundtrack – composed for the occasion by Samuel – combines in sequence two tracks of great impact – a suggestive author’s interpretation of the themes of The Volcano and The Well – which are spread through audio headphones in a way that the visitor can project himself in a deeply immersive dimension.
In this atmosphere, the poetic investigation dedicated to the arcana reveals the dominant identities of contemporary man, according to the masterful interpretation of the maison Carlo Pignatelli.
